Street to Street (a fundraiser for children in crisis)

An evening of conversation, art sale & raising awareness for ‘Angels Gate Center for street involved children’ (Moshi, Tanzania) on behalf of Last Night A DJ Saved My Life charity and in association with London Westbank Art Gallery, with artists SEN-One (New York) & Leeds own Nicolas Dixon & videographer Neil Kemp, hosted by Chris Madden.

All funds raised through ‘Street to Street’ go to Angelsgate, a home that accommodates children who live(d) on the street. Their aim is to provide street children with basic needs and keep them from the dangerous streets in Tanzania – http://sharetanzania.org.uk/angels-gate-center-for-street-involved-children

Following their life affirming project over in Tanzania painting the children’s home with two other internationally renowned artists Inkie (Bristol) & Chapter (Ibiza) plus Wachata street art crew (Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania) along with Grooveschool hosting DJ/music production workshops, they want to share their experiences with to a wider audience & reach out & inspire people to get involved with this ongoing project.

The ‘Street to Street’ project raises awareness through art and music workshops, they inspire the street children and aide them in overcoming trauma, which results in them spreading the word along other street children whom they can offer a safe place away from the street at Angels Gate.

As a direct result of #S2STanzania 15 more street children went to Angels Gate to see what it’s all about and how they possibly could be accommodated at the home. Exactly for this reason they are raising funds, in order to help more children and take them away from the streets.

All their efforts all leading up to a main auction hosted by London Westbank Gallery in a prestigious venue involving some of the biggest names in street art – watch this space”
