Bradford based writer Dean Cavanagh is a one-off ; an original acid house impresario, music maker (with Glamorous Hooligan) and more famously screen/playwright, both solo and as writing partner to Irvine Welsh. He brought along the critically lauded but little seen screen gem ‘Wedding Belles’ for a special screening at Outlaws. Before we settled down to watch the film, Dean shared with us a no-holds barred insight into the workings of the film industry. This Chinwag is not for the fainthearted!

Praise for Wedding Belles…
“One of the freshest and most engaging scripts I’ve seen on British television in years. It was brilliantly performed.”
“Wow! I’m blown away. Irvine Welsh and Dean Cavanagh’s “Wedding Belles” is simply a breath of fresh air. It’s like a cross between a Quentin Tarantino and Mike Leigh film. It’s got energy, hilarity, passion, irreverence and heart. A GREAT BIG HEART! ”
