Some of you may know him as the creative force of psyche-rockers The Brian Jonestown Massacre, whilst others will know him as the unlikely focus of Ondi Timoner’s award-winning documentary ‘DIG!’, recently cited as Number 1 in the Top 10 Music Movies by the Guardian.
Whichever way you vote one thing is for sure, Anton Newcombe is a force of nature, a genuine maverick who has been carving a musical path for the better part of 25 years and continues to go from strength to strength, most recently highlighted by BJTM’s exceptional and critically lauded long player ‘Revelation’ and sell-out world tour to boot. We love our mavericks and this was a very special Chinwag.
