Here’s one that’s been in the works for a little while now.. we’re extremely excited to bring the amazing Vladimir Ivkovic to Leeds for his debut in the city for a collaborative party between Outlaws and On Ro! One of our favourite DJs – Vlad’s roots lie in post punk and new wave which form a strong theme throughout his selections, but he plays everything from psychedelic ambience to tough as nails electro, not to mention his love for records at the wrong speed which includes hardcore and trance played at 33rpm. Aside from DJing all over the world with his frequent partner in crime Lena Willikens, Vlad holds down a residency at the legendary Salon Des Amateurs in Dusseldorf, and also runs one of our favourite labels of the moment – Offen. He’ll be playing a session at Outlaws in the early evening before we move down the road to Wharf Chambers where he will play alongside On Rotation and Outlaws extended family member Luce, who’s slow and tripped out selections will provide the perfect warm up for the rest of the party.
